in the scope of the unloading, loading and storage of containers and the formal service of incoming and outgoing trains.

The investment was co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment, Measures 7.4 Intermodal transport (www.pois.2007-2013.gov.pl).
The undertaking was carried out within the framework of the project "Construction of a publicly available Intermodal Container Terminal with the infrastructure in Kąty Wrocławskie".

Value of the project: PLN 44516391.70
Co-financing from the European Union: PLN 11585 966.24

The investment included the construction of an administrative and social building, a hardened container storage area, including storage of containers with hazardous materials, roads and parking spaces, a railway siding, as well as sewage, electrical and teletechnical networks. Equipment to transport containers has been also purchased - two new reachstackers with a lifting capacity of 45 tonnes and an RTG crane with a lifting capacity of 45 tonnes. The terminal was also equipped with a new system of monitoring and operating entrance gates.

After completion of the construction works, the operational area of the Terminal in Kąty Wrocławskie is approx. 5 ha, while the storage area is 2700 TEU. A new railway siding consisting of two tracks with a total useful length of 764.5 m remains at the disposal of railway undertaking carriers.
