The container terminal in Kąty Wrocławskie (near Wrocław) is a road and rail terminal located in the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). The terminal is a part of the Baltic-Adriatic Corridor which runs through six European Union countries - Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Italy and Slovenia. This corridor connects the Baltic ports in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Szczecin and Świnoujście with the Adriatic ports in Trieste, Venice, Ravenna and Kopra.
Currently, there are four special economic zones near the container terminal in Kąty Wrocławskie.

Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone "INVEST-PARK";
Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone "EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN". .
